OUR
SERVICES INCLUDE:
PRODUCT
INSPECTION/SORTING A
routine inspection of an automotive product will assure your company of
the quality which is expected from your product.
Our staff is experienced in inspecting attribute and variable
defects which occur on virtually every part on an automobile or truck.
Examples: burrs, flash undrilled / unpunched holes, holes off-location,
cold welds, bent parts and rust in metal applications, flash, non-fill,
warpage and color defects from injection molded products, defects that
occur in cloth such as pulled stitching and holes or problems that arise
from fasteners such as missing threads, deformed fastener heads or damage
to the fastener. General mixed part sorting or removal of specific cavity
numbers from a particular lot may be the request of your company.
Whatever your quality issue is, FBS is experienced. VISUAL INSPECTION
Visual quality inspection is a vital part of the mainstream of all FBS inspections. Because of this, all inspectors are screened for vision as well as dexterity.
The combination of both leads to better qualified and more efficient personnel.
PRODUCT
GAGING
All FBS gages are calibrated on schedule and usage of each gage is recorded during any inspection of your product. This allows product tracking during an
inspection in the event there is any question or doubt that a gage was calibrated correctly. Our staff is trained on the proper use and handling of all gages.
PRODUCT
REWORK
In many instances, your company may request that a quality part defect be reworked to the acceptable standard. This service reduces
waste from scrap or eliminates freight charges from returning the non-conforming parts to your facility for rework. Rework may be possible
for certain defects during a normal inspection. At times rework may be necessary on 100 percent of your product. With the authorization
of your company, we will rework the non-conforming attribute to the specifications desired.
3RD PARTY CONTAINMENT
FB Service Corporation provides 3rd party containment inspections. Inspection requirement standards must be agreed
upon prior to beginning inspection. All changes during an inspection must be in writing. Defect Trend and Defect Percentage Trend charts are
available upon request for all authorized parties involved in an inspection.
